Points, levels and the leaderboard

How you earn points in the Partner Portal, what your level, streak and badges mean, and how the monthly leaderboard works.

You’ll need: A Partner Portal link from the Tayon team.

Your Partner Portal turns your referrals into points, so you can see your progress at a glance and how you compare with other partners this month. This article explains how the points add up.

#How you earn points

Open the Ranking & badges tab. The How you earn points table lists the current points for each of these:

You earn points when…
Each referral — you refer a lead
Referral reaches a meeting
Referral receives a proposal
Referral becomes a client — the biggest single step
Each month a client pays — for every month a client you referred pays for their plan

Each step counts once per lead, in the month it happened, and it never goes backwards. If a lead reaches a meeting and is later put On hold, you keep the points for the meeting.

That last row is why good referrals keep paying off: a client who stays with Tayon earns you points every month they pay, as well as commission.

#Your level

The top of the portal shows your level, your Points in total, and the points you have earned This month. There are five levels:

Starter › Bronze › Silver › Gold › Platinum

Your level depends on your total points, and the bar under it tells you how many more you need — for example 80 points to Silver. At the top level it reads You reached the top level. Keep going!

#Your streak

Your streak counts the months in a row in which you referred at least one lead, and appears next to your level — for example 3-month streak. It counts back from this month or last month, so if you have not referred anyone yet this month, you have until the month ends to keep it going.

#Badges

The Badges panel shows all five. The ones you have earned are highlighted.

Badge How to earn it
First referral Refer your first lead
First client A lead you referred becomes a client
5 referrals in a month Refer five leads in the same calendar month
3 clients Three of your referrals have become clients
3-month streak Refer at least one lead in each of three months in a row

#The monthly leaderboard

Top partners shows the ten partners with the most points this month, with medals for the top three. Other partners appear by first name and initial, such as Maria S.; your own row is marked you.

Under the table you see your place — You are #4 of 12 partners this month. — even if you are outside the top ten.

The leaderboard starts again at the beginning of every month, using only the points earned that month. If you have none yet, it reads Refer a lead this month to enter the ranking.
