Price a course and award certificates
Use the course Settings tab to set a price, sell on the course page, limit access time, and decide what earns a certificate.
probusinessYou’ll need: The Pro plan or above, and the e-Learning permission at Edit level or higher. To sell, a Stripe or Mercado Pago connection.
The Settings tab of a course holds everything that is not content: how it is presented, what it costs, how long students keep it, and what earns them a certificate. Choose Save when you are done.

#How people join
The Selling section tells you how the course page behaves with the price you set:
- Free course — students sign up on the course page with their name and email.
- Paid, with a payment connection — students buy right on the course page and pay through your Stripe or Mercado Pago connection.
- Paid, without a usable connection — the section asks you to connect Stripe or Mercado Pago in Payment connections. The connection must accept the course’s currency.
Paid students get their access email as soon as the payment is confirmed. With PIX or boleto that can take longer than with a card.
#Selling through a conversational form instead
Conversational form link (optional) is an alternative way in: a
conversational form that uses the Enroll in Course action. The link must
start with https://. The course page uses it for its button only when the
course cannot be bought or joined on the page itself. See
Enroll people from a conversational form.
#Limit how long students keep access
Access period (days) counts from the day each student enrolls, from 1 to 3,650 days. Leave it empty for lifetime access. When the period ends, the student sees Your access to this course has ended.
#Decide when a lesson counts as watched
Watched to complete (%) is how much of a video a student must watch for the lesson to count as completed — between 50% and 100%. It is 90% unless you change it. Text lessons are completed with Mark as complete instead.
#Award a certificate
Turn on Issue a certificate. Students earn it when they finish every lesson, pass the required quizzes and reach the scores you set:
| Setting | What it means |
|---|---|
| Minimum average score (%) | The weighted average of each student’s best attempt in every graded quiz. Leave it empty for no minimum |
| Minimum score in each graded quiz (%) | A floor no single graded quiz may fall below |
| Course hours (printed on the certificate) | The workload shown on the certificate |
| Email the certificate automatically | Sends it the moment it is earned |
The certificate is a PDF titled Certificate of Completion, with a number and a link anyone can use to check that it is genuine. Students also download it from My learning in your academy.
#Add an AI tutor
The AI tutor section lets students ask questions about each lesson. See Answer students’ questions with an AI tutor.
