Publish your website
Put your site online, understand the daily hosting cost, and set the title, link preview, legal pages, chat bubble and analytics before you do.
You’ll need: A website already generated by the AI Builder. Custom code fields are limited to the account owner.
A site you build stays private until you publish it. Publishing writes real HTML pages to a public address and starts a daily hosting charge.
#What it costs to stay online
The first time you publish a given site, Tayon shows you the rate, the 30-day figure and how many days your current balance covers, and asks you to confirm with Publish website. You are asked once per site — unpublishing and publishing again does not ask a second time.
If your balance runs out, published sites are taken offline automatically and you are notified in the app and by email. Topping up and publishing again brings the site back.
#Where the site goes live
The first time you publish anything, Tayon asks you to choose your account address — the address every site, form and chat link you publish lives under. You pick it once for the whole account, then give this particular site a name of its own, and the two together make the public address:

Publishing stops until that is settled, and it is a separate question from the cost notice above: the cost you confirm once per site, the address once per account. A site that has been live for months still stops on its next publish until the account address exists. See Your account address.
#Publish
- Open the site in the editor.
- Work through Site settings first — see below. Everything there is baked into the published pages.
- Choose Publish in the toolbar.
- Choose your account address and name this site, if you have not already.
- Read the cost notice and confirm with Publish website.
Once live, the toolbar gains 🔗 Live (opens the public page) and Unpublish, and the Publish button becomes Republish.
Unpublish takes the public address offline and stops the daily charge. The site goes back to being a draft and nothing you built is lost.

Both title and description arrive pre-filled with what the site would publish anyway. Change them only if you want something different; leaving them alone keeps them following the site’s name.
The Powered by badge sits in the bottom-right corner of every published page. Removing it needs a plan that includes it — the panel tells you which, and the change takes effect the next time you publish.
#Add-ons
- Web bot — adds your chat bubble to every page of the published site. It also appears in the editor preview so you can see it before publishing. See Add the chat widget to your website.
- Legal pages — attaches content pages you have written (a privacy policy, terms) as pages inside the site, linked from the footer of every page.
Editing a content page later republishes every site that shows it, so the live text never drifts from what you wrote.
#Analytics
- Google Analytics 4 measurement ID, Google Tag Manager container ID and Meta Pixel ID. Type only the id — Tayon builds the correct snippet. Each one is format-checked, so a typo is caught before it reaches the page.
- Keywords and Additional meta tags for verification codes and robots
directives. Only
<meta>tags are accepted here, one per line, and they cannot carry scripts. - Custom code in
<head>and Custom code before</body>take arbitrary markup and are therefore restricted to the account owner. Team members do not see them, and anything they submit is ignored.
#Sharing the live site
Once a site is published, these appear on its row in Websites and on its card in the AI Builder:
- Show website — opens the public page
- Copy URL
- Generate QR Code
- Connect Domain/Subdomain — point your own domain at the site
They are visible but inert while a site is unpublished, with a Publish your website first tooltip, so a private editor address can never be handed out by mistake.
#Taking a copy away
⬇ in the toolbar downloads the whole site as HTML files. That is a free snapshot you can host anywhere — it does not unpublish anything and does not stop the daily charge.
